Privacy policy

This policy explains what we do with the personal information you give us through this website. Bell & Collier Construction Ltd is the data controller, registered in England and Wales under company number 14131831, at 70 Sheepfold Road, Guildford, Surrey GU2 9TU.

What we collect

If you fill in the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, the type of project, the area your property is in, and whatever you write in the message box. That is all. We do not ask for anything else and we do not collect payment details through this website.

Why we collect it

So that we can reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit and prepare a quotation. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, namely responding to somebody who has asked us to get in touch, and where a job goes ahead, performance of a contract.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is emailed to us and to the team who look after this website on our behalf. The email is sent using Resend, an email delivery service, and the website is hosted on Vercel. Both process the data on our instructions only. We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anyone else for marketing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us. Where we carry out work, we keep the records for as long as we need them for the contract, for insurance, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The contact page includes an embedded Google map, and Google may set cookies when that map loads. If you would rather it did not, you can block third party cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Email info@bellandcollierconstruction.co.uk and we will deal with it within one month. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page. This version was published in August 2026.
